ECTS 2002
By Andy on Friday, August 30, 2002
Well, I got back from this year's ECTS show in London yesterday. There was no Nintendo this year and the only game good enough for me to go back for a second (and third) go was Unreal Tournament 2003. Hopefully I'll have some content for you soon, but for now you'll have to entertain yourselves in the forum.

100% Chance of Sunshine!
By Carl on Tuesday, August 27, 2002
After resisting the urge to import in favor of waiting for a finalized U.S. version, Super Mario Sunshine is finally arriving at retailer's doorsteps and drawing ever nearer to my very own Gamecube. While August 26th was the official ship date, only a select few actually got the game yesterday. Today, August 27th will see the game arriving in most Electronics Boutique and Toys 'R Us stores, and tomorrow (Wednesday the 28th) Mario will arrive in larger chain stores such as Wal-Mart. By weekend the entire nation can expect to be engulfed in sunshine, despite any possible thunderstorms. Look for my U.S. review shortly!

By Andy on Saturday, August 17, 2002
Another note about the birthday messages: keep them short. We want to be able to include everybody's messages so if you send an autobiography your message will not be sent! Thanks.

Voice of Mario
By Andy on Saturday, August 10, 2002
Gamespy has a brilliant interview with Charles Martinet the voice actor for Mario, Luigi, Wario and many more Nintendo characters. Click here to read the interview.

Interview Added
By Andy on Friday, August 9, 2002
The Nintendo Power interview with Mr. Miyamoto and the Mario Sunshine development team is now in the interview section. I don't like what he's saying about releasing sequels faster...

Signed Mario Sunshine!
By Andy on Thursday, August 8, 2002
All (rich) residents of Canada click this link now! Nintendo of Canada are selling a copy of Mario Sunshine SIGNED by Mr. Miyamoto! Not only will you have the ultimate gaming collectable but you'll get it before the official US release too! God help them if they had made it available internationally, I'd have sold alot of stuff to get that.

Problems
By Andy on Thursday, August 8, 2002
I have a few things to go up today but my new computer isn't working properly and I'm lucky to be on the Internet right now. Our host has informed us that we've exceeded our bandwidth by six times the ammount we're allowed, if things get messy I may have to close the forums until we can sort ourselfs out. Stop visiting!

New Photos
By Andy on Monday, August 5, 2002
Two new photos from Mr. Miyamoto's Mario Sunshine talk have been added to the Miyamoto gallery, click here to see them.

Miyamoto Speach
By Andy on Monday, August 5, 2002
Planet Gamecube translated Mr. Miyamoto's speach on the Japanese Nintendo website and you can click here to view it on their website. Some of it sounds a little odd... I was waiting for him to announce his retirement at the end of it all, but that's probably down to a bad translation in parts. Expect big things for Miyamoto's 50th Birthday this year.
