Blue Coins By Andy on Wednesday, July 31, 2002 | I decided to get back in to Mario Sunshine today, and after a few hours searching for the stupidly difficult to find blue coins, I have 114 shines.
Sunshine is extremely similar to Majora's Mask in the respect of previous game comparison. I can see alot of people not finishing the game fully, and the magic of Mario 64 seems to be almost completley gone. Oh yeah, they added classic music to both games too. Look out for the second half of my review once I have all 120 shines, which at this rate could be a while away.

Credits Update By Andy on Sunday, July 28, 2002 | MS reader Sam Gonzalez has sent in the credits screenshot for Mario Kart Advance, click here to see it. Look out for the second part of my Mario Sunshine review later this week!

Problems By Andy on Friday, July 26, 2002 | Today we finally hit the mighty wall of steel that is our disk quota. We managed to free up some space but our news scripts and the forum were both damaged. As you can see I've managed to fix the news and I'm working on upgrading the forum right now. All forum members keep checking back!

There's one... By Andy on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 | The Mario Sunshine impressions page has been updated with a few notes on collecting those last few shines.
It looks like Nintendo yet again will not be at this year's ECTS show in London. When will I ever get another chance to meet Mr. Miyamoto?!

One By Andy on Monday, July 22, 2002 | Click here for part one of my Mario Sunshine review! In my last impressions update I was supposed to say it would take 25 hours to initially complete the game, not collect every star.

The page with be updated every few hours until I finally complete the game within the week. You don't need to keep refreshing the page, I'll put an announcement on this news page when I put up a new set of impressions.

It's Moving... By Andy on Friday, July 19, 2002 | It's only out for Delivery! Expect some impressions in a few hours which I'll update over today and the next few days. I love delivery runs, especially when the wait started 6 years ago! Oh, was that a van?...

It's Coming!! By Andy on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 | My copy of Super Mario Sunshine is in transit! :-D I'm sure Carl is very jealous. I'm probably going to do an impressions page which I'll update often, perhaps hourly if I can tear myself away from the TV that's half a metre next to the PC I'm on right now.
The Nintendo Trivia Test turned out to be very popular, perhaps we could make it a weekly thing. I think we should do themes... so next week we'll have Zelda questions! If you have any ideas for Zelda-related questions that could go in the next edition, e-mail them here.

Take The Test By Andy on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 | Thanks to 30 minutes of boredom we have a Nintendo Trivia Test for you to take. Please ignore my score as there were some errors in the answer config :)

Capturing By Andy on Monday, July 15, 2002 | MS Reader 'Nin10do Dude' very kindly sent in 7 new credits screenshots, which is very fortunate seeming as earlier today my tv card software decided it didn't want to work with Windows XP anymore, which unfortunately means I won't be able to capture screenshots from Mario Sunshine this week. If anyone knows where I can download new software simular to 'TVcam98' to work with my Avermedia TV card, please e-mail me here.

Yoshi Needs Food By Andy on Thursday, July 11, 2002 | Something I noticed from the E3 DVD that came with the lastest NGC Magazine: In the Mario Sunshine footage you can see that Yoshi has a 'Hunger' meter instead of the standard water meter Mario has, click here to see the screenshot. What will happen when Yoshi is too hungry? Will he slow down? We'll have to wait until next week to find out.

New Chat By Andy on Tuesday, July 9, 2002 | I've changed the chatroom around a bit so that it now works properly, our new room is '#shrine'. Come and chat by following the link at the top!

More Credits By Andy on Tuesday, July 9, 2002 | Thanks to Chris Sherman we have the Eternal Darkness and Luigi's Mansion credits screenshots up in the Credits section.
Supposidly Famitsu gave Mario Sunshine 38/40 which is pretty good seeming as Mario 64 got 39/40 and no-one is expecting Sunshine to succeed it in terms of innovation. Please god don't let it be a short game...

Month of Mario By Andy on Monday, July 8, 2002 | The Month of Mario begins today on Miyamoto Shrine with a new feature; The Making of Mario 64. Expect alot of screenshots and impressions of Mario Sunshine once our import copy arrives, and an in-depth history of Mario. It's almost here...

New Credits By Andy on Sunday, July 7, 2002 | Thanks to MS Reader Taylor Bilica we've got Kirby Super Star up in the credits section. Hopefully I'll have something else for you later today...

Lazy By Andy on Friday, July 5, 2002 | There isn't much going on today, I had a word with Carl and we've limited the job applications to two entries, these people will be hearing from me soon. Back to Eternal Darkness...

Status Report By Andy on Thursday, July 4, 2002 | We've received a lot of submissions for the writing job, it'll take Carl and I a while to read through the lot and decide so please bare with us.
There's been a big lack of updates the past few days, that's because I automatically assume that all of our readers are educated gamers who'll already know the big news the IGN reports, so if we don't have anything niche our exclusive to report then we won't report it. I got the urge to go deeper into the city and pick up a copy of Eternal Darkness too and most of my time has been dedicated to this... disturbing game.
Expect updates like this every day (hopefully) from now on.
